This course examines the uniqueness of infants and toddlers and the unique role of the professionals who care for them. Topics include the effects of adult/environmental stress on infants and toddlers, suggestions for multi-tasking in the infant room and how to soothe crying babies, exploring infant and toddler behaviors and the implications these present in the areas of teacher/child interactions, guidance practices, and setting up an age appropriate environment.

5 Hour Registry Approved Tier 3 Class

This course takes an in-depth look at the development of self esteem in young children. Participants will explore possible indicators of both high and low self esteem and ways to build self esteem in young children.

4 Hour Registry Approved Tier 2 Class

This course provides valuable information on brain development in children as well as the adult’s role in fostering and supporting child brain development. A special activity planning section for providers is included.
