Jen Reetz

Jen Reetz is an early childhood professional with over 14 years of experience in the field.  Jen graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Special Education.

Jen has experience teaching in a variety of early childhood & elementary education settings.  While completing her bachelor’s degree, she was a child care teacher in programs in the Milwaukee, WI metropolitan area.   While in Milwaukee, she also taught 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grade children at Pilgrim Lutheran School in Wauwatosa and St. Peter-Immanuel in Milwaukee.  Recognizing a need at St. Peter-Immanuel School, Jen developed and directed a 3 year old preschool program.  She was responsible for all aspects of start-up, hiring, program development, & marketing.

Upon relocation to Appleton, WI, Jen was named Center Director at a private child care program in the area.  Her responsibilities included all aspects of a turn-around operation for improving the quality of care and the financial performance of the program.   As Center Director for this program, Jen retired 100% of its debt, brought it back to running on budget, and increased enrollment by 25%, filling the center to licensed capacity and creating a waiting list. She and her staff were awarded a grant to complete the “Room to Grow” program through the child care resource & referral agency in their area.

Jen began her early childhood training career with Work & Family Consulting, Inc. in November of 2007.  As an approved trainer with the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families and an approved Master Trainer within The Registry Professional Development Approval System, Jen offers relevant, hands on training to child care center staff and is responsible for the research and development of new training topics for Work & Family Consulting, Inc.
